Presenting a stunning vintage Scandinavian art glass vase designed by the legendary Bertil Vallien for the quality glass makers Kosta Boda Sweden. This exquisite vase is a part of the "Rainbow" series produced in a range of shapes and sizes in the 70s and 80s. The sleekly curved pillow-shaped form features a rainbow of vibrantly coloured stripes in a vertical arrangement atop a mottled crisp white body. The stripes vary in thickness and break out of line or end abruptly to create a wonderfully abstract and random design which ensures each piece in the series is totally unique and individual.

This superb example has been masterfully hand crafted and beautifully finished with a quality polished rim. SIZE: This impressive piece stands approx 145mms tall, measures 150mms in width and 70mms in depth. CONDITION: The vase is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
