Scarce One of a Kind Unique Goran Warff Signed'Unik' Kosta Boda Large Art Glass Multicoloured Abstract Bowl. This incredible one of a kind piece is an exhibition quality example of esteemed glass artist Goran Warff works for Kosta Boda. Created in Mid-Century Sweden, the home of modernist art glass at a time the era was being defined by the iconic pieces coming out of Scandinavia, this piece is a literal one off as all Kosta pieces signed'Unik' have only one ever made. Goran Warff is world renowned for his spectacular glass work exploring themes and textures inspired by the natural world. He manages to capture fleeting moments of light & fluidity within glass in such an ethereal and playful way.

Take this piece for example, it's as though he saw a reflection of a rainbow in a lake and just plucked it right out of the water and placed it within the walls of the glass bowl immortalising it's ripple eternally, exhibiting it in an everyday object, just like that. Goran himself says about his work.

The glowing glass in the oven entices me to explore. Each gather renews my desire to convey the experience of the magic of glass.

To make a piece of glass as a carrier of light, sea and air. I want to create a home for light, for warmth and for sensuality. To me that sums it up beautifully.

Signed'Kosta WU750 Unik' to base. Just over 6in tall when measuring the back and exactly 6in tall from the front as it is slightly asymmetrical. Length is 9in & width is just over 7in. Opening from inside rim to inside rim across opening is just under 6.5in in diameter & 8.5in lengthways.

Base is just over 2in wide. Condition is'Used' - Good Vintage Condition. Minor scratches & Wear that is commensurate with age mainly to bottom of bowl.

Small nibbles to base rim in one little area. Full in depth report is as follows: One very light long wavy scratch down from rim to mid-section.

Just near this on the mid-section there's also 2 very light horizontal scratches. Small light scuff marks to bottom near base and 2 small vertical line scratches coming from base. Nibbled edge on base rim in one small patch & general wear scratches to base rim where it sits.
