Rare Vintage Mid Century Kosta Boda Signed Warff Abstract Cased Art Glass Vase. This absolutely stunning art glass bowl is a fabulous piece by renowned glass artist Goran Warff for Kosta Boda. Created in Mid-Century Sweden, this exhibition quality piece shows exactly why Scandinavian design was at the forefront of the modernist aesthetic of the 1960s & 70s. With its impressive raised circles or half bubbles protruding from the sides, heavy cased glass and imposing size along with its Psychedelic fluid blues and greens it is reminiscent of deep glacial pools reflecting the Aurora Borealis. A beautiful example of Modernist art and the perfect addition to any collection. Please note: I currently have all three pieces in this series listed for sale. Signed Kosta 46455 to base.

6.75in tall 5.5in diameter/wide at widest point. Opening has a diameter of 4.75in. Base is 3.75in wide.

Condition is'Used' - Along with general age related wear there is a patch of scratching on one side just next to one of the indented circles. Some minor scratching over surface in places such as raised circles and globular parts, near rim and inside surface. Base is generally worn with scratches.

There is also a sort of glassy see through inclusion beneath the surfaces which appears as clear like a gap in the colour on the outside and as a dark spot on the inside.
