Iconic OPTIC PRISM PAIR of Decanters designed by Elis Bergh for Kosta Boda C1930s PALE GREEN URANIUM. This listing is for a rare PAIR of elegant DECANTERS.. rare to find one let alon two.. A BEAUTIFUL shape and colour.

Pale greeny yellow glass designed by Elis Bergh in an oblong shape. Elis Bergh was the Design director at Kosta from the late 1920s through until the 1950s. Made in a pale olive green glass, which as you can see in the pictures, has widely spaced optic ribbing, which refracts light wonderfully. The colour of the glass is enhanced by the addition of a small amount of uranium which shows up under UV.. But difficult to see unless all angles are seen in a darkened room. They both have large concave polished pontils. The shape of he decanter gives a lovely wave that is inside the bottle. The outside is flat and smooth. Perfect and interesting addition to any vintage or eclectic home bar..

MEASUREMENTS: Height 8 3/4" x 5" width x 3depth. One small chip on the peg end of one stopper...
