RARE KOSTA BODA Signed LINDSTRAND Engraved DALECARLIA Cut Crystal Art Glass Mug
This listing is for a Scarce Vintage Mid Century Kosta Sweden Scandinavian Art Glass "Dalecarlia" Cut / Engraved Pattern Handled Beer Mug / Tankard / Stein. It was Designed by Vicke Lindstrand. It is Signed and Numbered on bottom "Kosta 96366 Lindstrand" (photo 5).
It is pretty big and holds 24 ounces comfortably up to notched band below rim. It has a very well done cutting / engraving of what looks to be a Courting Scene. First there is a Man on a Horse, then Woman in Archway, and finally the Man and Woman joining Hands.
Fancy Floral Borders decorate each Scene. It is Hand Blown with Ground and Polished Pontil and Applied Handle. It is in excellent condition overall with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Handle is securely attached with no damage! All rims and edges look perfect!
Very clean and crystal clear in and out! Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description. It is thick and heavy weighing over 2 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. It measures 5 1/8" tall, 5 7/16" handle to opposite side, 3 7/8" across top rim, and 3 3/8" at the base.
