Part of the artists Boat Series, this hard to find and collectible work is etched Kosta Boda, with the artists initials, BV, and the item number, 99312. The Kosta Boda label is adhered to the side of the piece as well. The technique to make this and other pieces in the series, sand casting, is extremely difficult and interesting to learn about.
In sunlight this beautiful piece in shades of blue and green forms a wonderful display of spectral color. Unfortunately my pictures dont properly represent the beauty of this piece. The boat measures 4 inches in length, is 1 inch in height and 1 1/4 inch in width at the widest point. All items are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive intact.
