Rare 10 Scandinavian Kosta Boda Smoke Grey Optic Ribbed Glass Vase Elis Bergh

LARGE HEAVY SCANDINAVIAN KOSTA BODA SMOKE GREY OPTIC RIBBED GLASS VASE BY ELIS BERGH. Art Deco Kosta Green Optic Ribbed Vase by Elis Bergh - Signed B675 probably 1940's.. If anyone exactly I should love to know. Here I have a rare piece of glass designed by Elis Bergh, design director at Kosta from the late 1920s through until the 1950s.

Made in a lovely SMOKE glass, which as you can see in the pictures, has widely spaced optic ribbing, which refracts light wonderfully. The bowl is signed "B675" within its large highly polished ponitl mark, Elis Bergh pieces were dated with his own sequential production code, which dates this as an early piece, either 30s, early 40s, since simply signed with a "B" prefix. The vase is in an excellent, vintage condition, no chips or cracks, but has wear to flat base, and some minor scratches to vase from genral use, but displays beautifully.

MEASUREMENTS: Height 10" approx 6" lip diameter. CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with no chips.
