Lovely Bertil Vallien 1975 Kosta Boda Zoo Krokodil Art Glass Crocodile Figurine. This absolutely stunning art glass crocodile figurine is part of the 1975 Boda Zoo Series created by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda. The Boda Zoo series has become one of Vallien's best known and popular ranges having made 40 original glass animals in 1975 with round edges and then creating 10 more in 1980 with a sharper aesthetic. These whimsical clear glass figures are the epitome of Kosta Boda's playful yet utterly chic design ethos.

This particular piece, the crocodile or more accurately Krokodil was one of the original 1975 pieces and has become one of the more scarce and highly sought after pieces in the range. With its larger size and tactile rounded feel along with its stylish sort of textured sort of frosted finish this cheeky croc is bound to add a touch of Scandi cool to any modernist home! 7.75in or 20.5cm in length, 3in or just under 8cm in width at widest point. Height is 1.5in or just under 4cm.
