Kosta Boda Swing Vase Kjell Engman 48889 Purple 9.5 Art Glass Sweden

This is an outstanding Kosta Boda of Sweden cased glass vase in the Swing series designed by Kjell Engman. There were 18 vases made in this series and this one is number 48889 and is a very deep purple.

It was produced in 1989 but does have a mid-century design. These were made in a couple of sizes and this one is the larger one standing at 9.5 inches and is 6.5 inches wide and heavy weighing almost 4 pounds.

It does have the etched marking as shown in the pictures. Overall, it is in great condition with just a few minor scratches on one side. This is very reflective so it was difficult to get pictures without picking up the surroundings.
