Kosta Boda Swedish Art Glass Yellow'Chiko' Vase No 49606 by Bertil Vallien. DESCRIPTION: This is an orangy yellow, rough textured (almost coralene) vase with dashes of lemon yellow and red opaque glass throughout. This vase is circa mid 1990's.
SIZE: 8-1/4" tall, 5-1/8" across at the opening and 3-1/2 deep (21 x 13 x 8.9 cm). MARKS: Marked as shown in etched script "Kosta Boda Artist Coll B Vallien 49606". No sign of damage or wear. NOTES: Bertil Vallien IS by far the most internationally celebrated glass artist and designer in Sweden. He has received numerous awards and his work is well represented in leading museums around the world.
