The opaque white mottles glisten with an appealing milky opalescence displaying contrasting cool blue and fiery orange tones in varying lighting conditions. The rather ethereal scene is rendered in a painterly fashion, appearing rather like a delicate watercolour painting. There is one absolutely minuscule fleabite sized nibble to the top rim noticeable only on extremely close examination with a magnifier and not evident to the naked eye but mentioned for complete accuracy.

MARKS: This vase is signed to the base with an engraved signature reading "Boda K Engman" although the mottled ground upon which it appears makes the mark hard to decipher.
