EXCEPTIONAL VINTAGE KOSTA BODA SCANDINAVIAN ART GLASS VASE. Exquisite frits of radiant blue add a fabulous colour and light texture to the hexagonal shaped body, while the sleek and slender spire shaped neck and rim are coloured with appealing streaks of vibrant purple. The colour was applied as frits of glass to the initial gather and worked into the surface of the glass as the piece was hand blown into shape creating random patterns which perfectly follow the sleek contour of the form. This technique ensures each piece in the series is a totally unique and individual hand crafted work of art. SIZE: This stunning larger sized example stands approx 160mms tall and measures 95mms in diameter. CONDITION: This vase is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for as a display item and presents spectacularly. MARKS: This piece is beautifully signed and numbered to the base with an engraved signature reading Kosta Boda Artist Coll B.
