Beautiful boat from the series "Boat" by Bertil Vallien. 17.5 cm long and 4.5 cm wide.

Signed Kosta Boda Bertil Vallien and Numbered. For myself sourcing this piece of of Swedish Art Glass was a rare rare find. Capturing the depth of colour and refraction of light on the figure, the details the clear top of the sculpture and the textured sides is impossible in photographic form. As a collector of Bertil Valliens sculptures, the shimmering deep colours of this particular Boat sculpture are unusual to many I have seen in this series, from a darker moody spectrum to a subtle bright array of colour through to a rich gold.

As with many sculptures I sourced this without its stand and the one in the photograph is a hand made replica which I can get re made for a small and reasonable extra cost.
