Kosta Boda Bertil Vallien GALAXY Artist Collection #48015 Art Glass Vase MINTY! The vase was produced by the famed Swedish works as part of the "Galaxy" series designed by Bertil Vallien c. The "Artist Collection" bottle form has a striking Modernist look with clean curvilinear lines to the flattened shouldered form with thin tapering neck. The clear glass is covered in fine blue spatter with a white flocked cased layer over the lower 2/3rds. The surface is highlighted with deep cobalt random threads surrounding a central sphere on each face.

The vase has a nice presence measuring 10 ¼" high, 5" wide and 2 ½ deep. The circular polished pontil mark is hand engraved "BODA" "ARTIST COL" "B VALLIEN" 48015. The vase is in like new / mint condition with no damage or surface wear and retains its original silver foil "BODA ARTIST COLLECTION SWEDEN" label.
