The vase is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with use. The vase is broadly oval in cross-section and a flared and twisted cylinder in shape with an obliquely ground top surface. The vase was blown in two-tone blue glass cased in clear.

It is 28 cm (11.2 inches) in height and 11 cm (4.4 inches) across at its widest point. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. The legend Kosta Boda G. Warff 7049809 is inscribed into the base.

It weighs in at 2.6 kg.
