Erik Hoglund Large Glasmadamer People Decanter for Kosta Boda Signed H288 Sweden. This listing is for an original Scandinavian art glass bottle / decanter by Erik Hogland for the Boda Glassworks of Sweden, circa 1950s - 1960's. This is Hoglunds female decanter, the "Glasmadamer, " with a lady face stopper and female form with applied arms. The glass is mold blown and has lots of great seed bubbles. This decanter measures 11 and 1/4 inches tall to the top of the stopper.
The base has a ground pontil, and is signed / numbered by Hoglund - H288, as shown. The H stands for Hoglund with the'288' denoting the model number. This is the largest size of Hoglund's People bottles.
