Erik Hoglund Large Amber Glasmadamer People Decanter with 4 Matching Glasses for Kosta Boda Signed H288 Sweden. This listing is for an original Scandinavian art glass bottle / decanter and 4 hard to find matching glasses by Erik Hogland for the Boda Glassworks of Sweden, circa 1950s - 1960's. This is Hoglunds female decanter, the "Glasmadamer, " with a lady face stopper and female form with applied arms.
The glass is mold blown and has lots of great seed bubbles. This decanter measures 11 and 1/4 inches tall to the top of the stopper. The base has a ground pontil, and is signed / numbered by Hoglund - H288, as shown.The H stands for Hoglund with the'288' denoting the model number. This is the largest size of Hoglund's People bottles. Each glass measures 3 and 1/4 inches tall and has a an applied face medallion that matches the decanter. Condition : No cracks, chips or flakes. There is a rough edge that was not polished flat on the inside of the rim and a very light water mark around the inside edge of the bottom visible in very bright flat light.
