Erik Höglund chandelier for Boda of Sweden 60s glass gilded wrought iron

Stunning vintage chandelier from Swedish glass works Boda of Sweden (pre Kosta Boda). He was also a painter and sculptur. Among Höglund's most famous objects are the one that combines glass and wrought iron, just like this chandelier. His designs are sought after by collectors all over the world, not at least in Scandinavia and Japan. Made of gilded wrought iron with clear glass details.

The three chains are made of eight links each so the total height is adjustable. It has six arms, each ending with a removable glass cup. Decorated with glass discs, everyone with the same star motif. You can use tealights or for a more festive feeling go for dinner candles.
