Up for sell a beautiful handmade chandelier with wrought iron frame and cast and blown glass from Kosta Boda. The chandelier is designed by Erik Hoglund in the 60s.
Manufactured by Boda Smithy in the 60s. Erik Hoglund started his career on Boda factory 1953.
He was only 21 years old. He revolted the glass production. Colors and bubbles made the glass more living. He is called the "Grandfather" of swedish art glass. Hoglund cooperate a lot with Boda Smithy (Boda Smide).
In 50s and 60s he designed candelabras, candleholders and chandeliers. The chandelier is approx 24"(60 cm) high and 19"(48 cm) in diameter. The six candleholders are suitable for candles with diameter 0,9(2,2 cm).
The distance from the ceiling to the chandelier can differ. The difference depends on how many the three hanging extension bars you use. Each bar is 8(20 cm).
The total weight for the chandelier is around 4800 grams. The chandelier is in very good vintage condition. It is used, but all the glass parts are in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. I will pack very carefully with a lot of bubble-wrap. The chandelier will reach You undamaged.
