Bertil Vallien Art Glass Vase Kosta Boda Atelje Cameo Bird Design

Superb little art glass vase designed by the renowned Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda. A vase from his'Tornado' range, with coloured glass canes rolled into the iridescent surface, but which has then been specially sand blasted with cameo decoration of his signature birds. Has the remains of a'Kosta Boda Atelje' label.

It is also very faintly signed underneath (it has been partially sand blasted)'Kosta Boda Atelje' and'Bertil Vallien' with a production number. Just couldn't get an image of it, though.
