A Rare and Early Kosta Boda Ventana Vase by Mona Morales-Schildt 1959

Rare and Early Kosta Boda "Ventana" Vase by Mona Morales-Schildt. Pear shaped concave lenses cut on opposing flanks with pale blue and clear eye. This is a three colour "sommerso".

Height 16cm max width at shoulder 11.4cm. Age related wear on the base only. The onlty example we have seen outside of a book. I have been involved in the antiques business since 1971. My career took a leap forward when I joined Bonhams in 1976.

Some five years later I became head of the Decorative Arts department.
