Vintage Kosta Boda vases by Bertil Vallien. This beautiful collection of art glass is in very good condition. Designed by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda these beautiful vases are part of the'Rainbow' collection designed by renown glass artist Bertil Vallien. All three vases are signed to the base and feature their design numbers for the different sizes/ shapes.
This range features a clear glass vessel with a opaque white'frit' to the exterior that is shiny and enamel like. Hand applied to this are rainbow coloured trails of glass, abstract and unique in their applicaton and colour combination.
No two pieces are exactly the same. All 3 pieces are free from damage with no chips or cracks. The smallest vase (a miniature) comes with original box and leaflet.
The tallest vase is 190mm tall and 90x70mm in diameter (oval in diameter) the medium vase that is a flattened oviod shape is 140mm tall and 55x150mm in diameter at the widest point. The miniature is 80mm tall and 90x55mm in diameter at the widest point.
