You are looking at a Great Vintage 1950s Vicke Lindstrand, Kosta Boda, Sweden Art Glass Bowl - LH 1026 - Signed. This light blue crystal elliptical bowl by was crafted in the early 1950s by Vicke Lindstrand. Lindstrand is famous for pioneering the Swedish glassblowing technique Ariel, alongside Edvin Öhrström and Knut Bergqvist in the early 20th century. He worked as a designer at Orrefors from 1928 to 1940, and later served as the artistic director for Kosta Boda from 1950 to 1972.
This amazing center piece bowl features light blue glass with a wavy rim design. Pieces of Kosta Boda production glass like this one were not individually signed by the artists, but the LH signature and serial number (1026) indicates that this piece was designed by Lindstrand. This amazing bowl measures 10" in diameter and 3 3/4" high, is previously owned and in great condition, showing no signs of use or wear.
