The Meteor design range was produced by Kosta Boda to draw in the eye and the mind to engage the wonders and the mysteries of the cosmos. Bertil Vallien, is considered by many to be Sweden's most celebrated glass artist and designer. This is a large & heavy piece, being 27 cm (10.5") in diameter, and weighing about 1.8 kg, and stands on a clear footed pedestal, which is engraved on the base: "Kosta Boda ART COLL. This superb Meteor dish is flawless, and in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or scratches, and only has some light wear to the base.

This would make a wonderful gift - although I do not have the original box or packaging for it. It would also make a superb addition to your collection.
