PAIR of CANDLESTICKS wrought iron + glass KOSTA BODA ERIK HOGLUND 60s

Up for sell a pair of candlesticks designed by Erik Hoglund for Kosta Boda in the 1960s. Wrought iron and blue bulbs. Erik Hoglund started his career on KOSTA BODA 1953.

He was just 21 years old and he was a rebel. He transformed Swedish art glass and nowadays he is called "The Father of Swedish art glass".

He designed a lot of items in different materiel and he cooperated with many other designers and factories. Together with the skillful smith Axel Stromberg he manufactured many chandeliers, candelabras and candle holders on BODA SMITHY. Both the candlesticks are in very good condition. The glass parts have no chips or any other damages or flaws. The candlesticks measure 8,7(22 cm) tall.

Suitable for candles with dia around 1(2,2 cm). The two candlesticks together weight 924 grams. I will pack very carefully so the "CANDLESTICKS" will reach You undamaged.
