Kosta Boda Vase, Black Magic. Offered for sale is a wonderful vase designed by the late Ulrica Hydman Vallien for Kosta Boda in Black Magic series Artists Collection. The Black Magic series designed in 1986, was made in a complex way, of clear and chocolate-mulberry coloured glass. The coloured surface glass layer was been etched and acid polished into different shapes, torches and flying fish, hand-painted with colorful enamels. The range was not in production long, being too difficult and expensive to make. Etched signature underneath: Kosta Boda Artist Coll. Size: height is 16.2cm, 14.5cm diam. Condition: excellent vintage condition: no issues.
