Bertil Vallien Kosta Boda Glass Paperweight Sculpture, Flying Man Series, c. Tear shaped sculpture or paperweight; vibrant orange glass beginning at the bottom gradually shifts to blue at the top. The outside is surrounded by an opaque white swirl running from the bottom to the top and gradually increasing in thickness.

The design features a ground panel showing an embedded red flying man figure floating in a shaft of light. This is a limited edition of 1,000. Dimensions: 4-3/4" high x 2-3/4" in diameter (at widest); the base is 2. Inscribed on the base: 7171029 / Kosta Boda / Lim.

The white felt pads on the base are original to the piece. I still have the original box and pamphlet for this item, which are included with the sale. Note: I had a difficult time photographing this.
